This is one of the premier events in Ontario and being the only point-to-point race in the Province makes it one of the most unique. Athletes will start the day at the Welland International Flatwater Centre, a legacy facility of the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Construction of the Welland Canal started nearly 200 years ago and was a major contributor to the growth and prosperity of southern Ontario. It has become an ideal location for warm, pristine open water swimming. You will then bike and run your way to the world famous Niagara Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world.

TRiKC Big Spin Sessions

The first and only group winter training program designed for triathletes of all levels to learn the specifics of triathlon training. No more sitting on your bike for an hour following a generic zone based training regimen, or suffering through the mind-numbing torture of massive volume, or pretending you have the VO2 max of Lance Armstrong, the technique in our “swimbikerun” program is specifically designed to make “you” a better “triathlete.” Our program will tune your legs for the run after the bike and teach you to swim in the congested waters of a triathlon so that you build critical fitness and breakthrough race-day performance. At the Big Spin Sessions, you get the total package.

We started this ride on Scott Tinley's birthday and we continue it every year in his honor. This is the last Tuesday of evening daylight and thus the last ride of the season before the lights go out. You have worked hard this season. Come join us for an evening of fun. Bring your Cruiser, mountain bike, trail bike, or road bike (and light) and have ride the trails with TRiKC. Then join us for a great meal as we reminisce about this season and dream about the season to come. Everyone is welcome to attend this TRiKC Tradition. Be ready to ride at 6:00pm.
