In simple terms, one of the best triathlons in the world. This is one of the premier events in Ontario and being the only point-to-point race in the Province makes it one of the most unique. Athletes will start the day at the Welland International Flatwater Centre, a legacy facility of the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games. Construction of the Welland Canal started nearly 200 years ago and was a major contributor to the growth and prosperity of southern Ontario. It has become an ideal location for warm, pristine open water swimming. You will then bike and run your way to the world famous Niagara Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world.

We started this ride on Scott Tinley's birthday and we continue it every year in his honor. This is the last Tuesday of evening daylight and thus the last ride of the season before the lights go out. You have worked hard this season. Come join us for an evening of fun. Bring your Cruiser, mountain bike, trail bike, or road bike (and light) and have ride the trails with TRiKC. Then join us for a great meal as we reminisce about this season and dream about the season to come. Everyone is welcome to attend this TRiKC Tradition. Be ready to ride at 6:00pm.

TRiKC Time Trial Series (cancelled due to the weather)

Put simply, a time trial is a cycling race against the clock over a set distance or time. For the triathlete, it is a clean, solo riding event that will test your focus and fortitude and teach you to pace yourself at maximal effort. It is a great way to hone essential skills and build your fitness.

Our Time Trial Series is for current TRiKC members only. Check the Transition Area @trikc.org for the registration details. If you are not a TRiKC member, CLICK HERE to join.

Bike for the Brain hosts an annual community bicycle ride event for mental health. Their goals are to raise funds for Kansas City area agencies that enhance the lives of people with mental health challenges, and to raise public awareness that mental health disorders are brain-based, emotional, and behavioral experiences that are both common and treatable.

This is a great Labor Day ride. Join us for the Full Route (55 miles). A great way to get in some miles for 140.6, 70.3, or I am ready to improve my cycling triathletes.

Meet at Shawnee Mission Park Marina Parking lot. We will be riding outside the park on an out and back ride. There are many places to turn around so you can shorten the distance and/or rejoin the group.

We start at Shawnee Mission Park. Head south on Renner to Prairie Street Parkway at which time we turn right (west). You then take Prairie Street Parkway until K-10, where you turn around and head back on the same route. Ride on!
